Wilson Insurance Receives Green Shops "SILVER" Status

As a participating business in the City of Fredericton Green Shops initiative, we are proud to announce that we have achieved Silver Status for 2010.

The Green Shop initiative encourages buinesses to implement actionable items which simutaneously reduce their environmental impact, reduce operating costs and advance Fredericton's movement towards being a more sustainable community.  We encourage all Fredericton businesses to go green and join this great initiative.

A social held at the Garrison District Alehouse saw six new members recognized as well as participating members who have increased their status.  Mayor Brad Woodside and New Brunswick Minister of Environment, Rick Miles, were on hand for the presentations.

New Members includes: McInnis Cooper, Hockey New Brunswick, Garrison District Ale House, Luminultra, Fredericton Wellness Clinic, Taylor Printing Group, Stylin' Mama, Baby and Tot. 

Those moving up in status were:  Wilson Insurance, Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival, Fredericton Naturopathic Clinic, Fresh Esthetics, The Blue Door, Rober Simmons, Room 2 Remember, All About Animals, Gallery Opaque, Gallery 78, Gas Free Grass Cutters, Picaroons Traditional Ales and Remsoft.
